A letter to H.G.

Dear H.G.,

I know we haven't spoken in a while and that is just because I'm so terribly busy. 

How have you been? Good I hope.

I  miss you. No, I really do. I know it seems like we've never spoken and we are practically strangers who refuse to acknowledge each others existence, but I miss you.

Yes, there have been other men. Older, younger, richer, American. But you, H.G. You. It was always you.

I know that I prefer to be alone, but honestly, I would much rather be alone with you. 

Talk to me H.G. 

I will always and forever love you, although it may seem that I stray.
